[the electronics section includes, also, a photo developing counter. prompto's at the help desk, printing out some photographs for a trio of teen girls. he looks at the photographs as he packs them up, making sure there's nothing wrong with the printing, and smiles.]
Happy memories, huh? You girls look great.
[he hands it over, along with the price for them. the girls giggle behind their hands, fighting over who gets to pay, but prompto's used to this. besides, he doesn't get it? he's flushed from a fever he doesn't know he's about to fall victim to, he's exhausted from work+gym+classes combo, and he could do with having a snack. another two more hours and he's home free, though. so he sports his best smile and sees the girls off, smiling big and thanking them, hoping to see them again.]
[as he follows them out the store with his eyes, he spots a figure that is quickly becoming very familiar. the girls glance over at him, dark clothes and spiky blond hair, giggling, again.]
[just like that, his energy is back.]
[approaching his brother and leaving the help desk empty for now, he excitedly falls into step next to cloud, who is looking at... headphones?]
Earphones are best if you want to use them while at work. Listening to music while on your bike isn't safe, but I bet you knew that.

We got some stuff on sale, but if I buy it I can have the employee discount. It's not much, five percent, but it's something. How much are you considering for your budget?
[Lost? He scoffs, but there's humor in it. A hand is shoved into his pocket, the other makes a vague gesture before dropping back at his side.]

[Which makes this sound like an impulse buy, but after having to load Retrospec and his phone taking an unfortunate fall to the pavement, it kind of is necessary.]
I mean, I don't need an eight-hundred dollar phone, if that's what you're thinking. But I've got some saved up, so I can afford something nice -- just not that nice, you know? I'm going to have to...
[He pauses.] I just want something that'll load this stupid app without me having to wait a hundred years.
[cloud's frustration at his phone is blatant. and he really wants a good deal for his brother, his own sales commission be damned. he's not going to sell a super expensive phone to him when one on the cheaper spectrum can do the job.]
[he goes on around to a different aisle, asking cloud to follow him]

The OS would be more updated, too, and could withstand bigger app files, not to mention it'd have more memory.
[the phone is shiny in how new it is, and its design is slick and modern. perhaps a lot thinner than what cloud's current phone is.]
